    from CIRS by

After completing K-REACH registration, registrants must fulfill post-registration obligations, including the transmission of chemical substance safety information in the supply chain.

    K-REACH,Korea,chemical,substance,safety,Form 25 & 26

    1. Necessity of Transmission

According to Article 36 of K-REACH on the transmission of chemical substance safety information:

    1. Safety information must be prepared using Form 25. However, if a company has already prepared a MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (KOSHA), Articles 29(1) and 41, it may submit the MSDS along with Form 26 (registered substance safety/risk information) as an alternative to Form 25.
    2. Form 25 or Form 26 + MSDS must be transmitted in writing or electronically to downstream users when transferring registered substances or mixtures containing them.
    3. The preparation of safety information must follow guidelines issued by the National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER).

    2. When to Prepare Forms

For substances exceeding 10 tons, a Chemical Safety Report (CSR) must be submitted during K-REACH registration. After registration is completed, Form 25 or Form 26 + MSDS must be prepared.

    3. Transmission Methods

For K-REACH registration of substances exceeding 10 tons, a Chemical Safety Report (CSR) is required. After registration is completed, Form 25 or Form 26 + MSDS must be transmitted. For substances registered below 10 tons, submission of a CSR is not required. Therefore, due to potentially insufficient exposure information, it may not be possible to prepare Document 25 or 26. When transmitting information downstream, Document 25 or 26 can be omitted, and only the MSDS needs to be transmitted. Additionally, in the regulatory section of the MSDS, it should be stated that "Registration has been completed under K-REACH."
