On June 14, 2023, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs in China released the "Management Measures for Pesticide Labels and Instructions (Revised Draft for Soliciting Opinions)" on its website. If companies in the industry have any suggestions for the draft, they need to submit their revised opinions to the Pesticide Management Division of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs before June 30. The management measures for pesticide labeling and instructions are one of the most important regulations affecting pesticide products.

The speakers provided an overview of the regulatory frameworks, including recent updates and challenges. The presentations were insightful and gave attendees a better understanding of the different regulations across various regions. The feedback from the attendees has been overwhelmingly positive, with many commenting on how insightful, and beneficial they found both the presentations as well as the opportunity to network with other professionals in the industry, in order to share experiences, and discuss the challenges and opportunities they currently face. Biopesticides in China include microbial pesticides, botanical pesticides, biochemical pesticides and agricultural antibiotics produced by biological fermentation.
