    Free Webinar: How to Register Genetically Modified Microorganism (GMM) Food Additive in China?

    from CIRS by

    China,Food,Additive,Free,Webinar,GMM,Registration

    In recent years, Human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs) has become the new aristocrat in milk and been well known by the public. In May 2022, the 2'-fucosyl lactose (2’FL) from modified E-coli was released for public comments by CFSA, marking a "first victory" in the application of GMM food additives. In the past, except for registration of new enzymes produced by GMMs, other registrations of new food additives or food raw materials produced by GMMs are unacceptable by National Health Commission (NHC) in China, which means, these new food ingredients have no chance to enter the Chinese market as a food additive or food raw material. In the year of 2021, NHC opened the application channel for GMM food additives.

    In order to help enterprises understand the registration of new GMM food additives in China, CIRS Group will hold a webinar in July 2022. Please refer to the following information for the specific time, content and way of attending.

    Main contents

    • Introduction on new GMM food additives management system in China;
    • Procedures and duration for new GMM food additives registration;
    • Dossier and test requirement;
    • Key points and skills of how to prepare the required documents;
    • Status of application of GMM food additives
