Recently, China's National Health Commission (NHC) issued notifications regarding the approval and review of “Three new foods” (new food raw materials, new food additives, and new food-related products). The notifications included:
- Five notifications of extension notice;
- one notification of review opinions.
Among them, Taurocholic acid complexes, which was submitted for review opinions, was not recommended for approval by the China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA) after the technical review.
