    CFSA is Collecting Public Comments on Three New Food Raw Materials

    On March 10, 2023, China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA) issued a public consultation on 3 new food raw materials passing the technical review of the CFSA Expert Review Committee. The deadline for public comments is April 10, 2023. Details are as follows:

    Brief introduction of production process

    Prepared through drying, magnetic separation, dehulling, screening, and other processes by using seed of Xanthoceras sorbifolium Bunge as raw materials.

    Using Saccharomyces Cerevisiae as the strain basis with adding carbon source, nitrogen source, and other nutrients for fermentation, through breeding, fermenting, and centrifuging to get the raw material; prepared through removing nucleic acid, centrifuging, enzymolysis, extraction, purification, separation, sterilization, drying, and other processes.
