8 Products have Obtained Foods for Special Medical Purpose (FSMP) Registration Certificates in China - Regulatory News - Food & Food Contact Materials

On July 3 2018, State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) published a Notice about the registration information of two FSMP products from ABBOTT NUTRITION, ABBOTT LABORATORIES. This is the fifth time that SMAR (former CFDA) published FSMP registration approval Notice.

Up to now, 8 products from 5 manufacturers have obtained the FSMP registration certificates in China. All of them are FSMP products for 0-12 months old infant. Among them, only one registered FSMP product is domestic product which is owned by Beingmate, and the other 7 products are all from overseas manufacturers. Thus, it can be seen that imported products account for predominant percentage among all registered products. The detailed information of the other 6 registered products are as follows.
