    NHC Approved Two New Food Raw Materials in China

    On 26 September, 2018, National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China (NHC) approved two new food raw materials: Black chokeberry and Nostoc sphaeroides.

    (1) Black chokeberry

    ≤10 g/day (fresh product)

    Remark

    1. The substance shall not be consumed by infants, pregnant women and lactating women. Unapplicable population should be marked on labels and instructions.

    2. Food safety indexes are implemented in accordance with the relevant national regulations of fruit.

    ≤3 g/day (dry product)

    Remark
