NMPA Notification of 29 Batches of Disqualified Cosmetics No. 113, 2018 - Regulatory News - Personal and Home Care Products

On November 9th, 2018, NMPA issued a notice on the inspection results of 29 batches of unqualified cosmetics produced by 15 manufacturers including Guangzhou Shencai Trade Co., Ltd. The result in detail could be referred to Table 1 below.

Specifically, the following manufacturers denied that they have produced the products listed in Table 1: Guangzhou Qianyasi Fine Chemicals Co., Ltd, Guangzhou FaYaSi Fine Chemical Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Meiaisi Cosmetics Corp.,Ltd., Zhejiang Zhanghua Health Industry Co. Ltd, etc.

Furthermore, as a violation of "Regulations Concerning the Hygiene Supervision of Cosmetics", NMPA had required the MPA of Guangdong, Shandong, Jiangsu and Zhejiang province to order relevant manufacturers to recall failed products and to inspect those manufacturers. Local MPAs were required by NMPA to deal with the above companies seriously in accordance with laws and to disclose relevant information in 3 months.
