    2022 Cosmetic Regulatory Training Series: Management of Cosmetic Ingredient Regulations in China

    CIRS prides itself on holding regular training events in order to provide our Clients, Partners, and members of the Regulatory Sector with the most up to date knowledge and changes to the ever-expanding field of international regulations.

    Since the implementation of the Cosmetic Supervision & Administration Regulation (CSAR) in 2021 by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) in China, the landscape of cosmetic regulations in China has undergone significant changes. As such, CIRS is proud to announce a series of training webinars available to our clients and our regulatory network. This series will focus on one of the most widely discussed topics in the cosmetic supply chain this year, Cosmetic Ingredient Management in China with special attention paid to the Safety Information Platform.

    Introduction to the Series

    The three-part series of training courses is organised and hosted by subsidiaries of the CIRS Group: CIRS Europe & CIRS US. As such, the series will look at the Regulations from the perspectives of both companies based in the EU & the US, two of the largest cosmetic markets in the world.

    Julie Harrington, Senior Regulatory Consultant in CIRS Europe

    Julie graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a B.Sc. (hons) degree in Medicinal Chemistry. She has also worked in the pharmaceutical industry in the area of Quality Control. She joined the CIRS group in 2019 as a Regulatory Consultant and is now coordinating the cosmetic service at the Dublin office, specializing in cosmetic regulations in China. She is also experienced with the chemical regulatory sector including EU REACH, UK REACH, Global GHS, China REACH and KKDIK regulations.

    Jim Mo, Senior Regulatory Consultant in CIRS US

    Mr. Jim Mo stations in Washington D.C office of CIRS Group and responsible for business operations of chemicals and food sector in North America. A Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University, Jim channels his experience as a lead chemist into serving the industry with regulatory compliance consultancy.

    Christopher Ketchum, Senior Regulatory Consultant in CIRS US

    Mr. Chris Ketchum is a member of our United States office based in Washington D.C. He received his B.S. in Biology and Neuroscience from The Ohio State University and began working in the cosmetic regulatory industry shortly thereafter. Chris draws upon his diverse background of technical writing, applied sciences, and regulatory affairs to provide expert consulting services, specializing in the chemical sector.

    Mr. Xiang Li, Business Development Manager in CIRS Europe

    Mr. Li Xiang is based in our European office in Dublin, Ireland. Li obtained his B.A. in Business and Law from the Technological University Dublin (Formerly DIT). Li has been living in Europe for over 10 years, and has many years’ experience in practical law and business law in Ireland, bringing a wealth of legal expertise and great public speaking skills to our Business Development team.
